Unconventional Emotion/Cockle Creek
On the road and back in the forest again, I caught a bus from the cherry farm in Huonville to Dover. From there a bought a few supplies and had time to consider why I am doing this. I am doing this because I want to see who I am without any external factors.
Eating up some of my megre supplies which include:
- 2kg pack of rice
- Soy Sauce
- Sesame Seed Oil
- 1kg of Bananas
I was ready for a fortnight in what the Tasmanian Bush Rangers deem the most dangerous walk in the state. To be honest it's a breeze and I think they overexagerate to encourage caution.
After hitching a ride with a Lightworker family (More description in 1 on 1 talk), I've been here for 2 days and training hard in meditation, martial arts and contemplation. Plus I have a ton of weed, though since I've stopped smoking habitually it's just sitting here :D
Done with the run down now heres the meat and bones, I'm in cockle creek having a tiny meltdown on why I am doing all of this and to be honest wondering the point of my existance. The fact is there is no fucking point!!! That's the beauty of life, there is no point and when that sank in to me I remembered it's what I choose to make matter that is important. I choose the point of my life, nothing else does. I really felt that conculsion on all levels and not just mentally. Physically and spiritually too!!! I was sitting on a rock that probably hasn't been sat on in hundreds of years, Laughing and crying, joyful and sorrowful, ecstatic and lethargic. All these emtions coursing through me, I thought I was going crazy or the water I drank got me so fucking high. I was thinking "I AM wasting time but wait time doesn't exist, infact careers are made up, but I've been working so hard and that's good but wait that's bad, but there is no such thing as bad and good." And so on and so forth, until I was solberring and drooling with laughter and snorting in my wailing tears.
The thought that came after the silence, I love myself.
I Love you all

Mastery over the Present
"The Present is a gift", paraphrase from an Old Turtle.
I have been stripped of myself assurance the past few days. What I knew is clouded from the smoke of marijuana. Now I don't believe marijuana is bad but when it doesn't serve a higher purpose, or limits my ability to participate in the world with the strength I'm accoustomed to, then I no longer want to smoke.
In saying this I have been given a chance to review my thoughts, in a beautiful part of Tasmania right beside a fire. Fire is beautiful metaphor for our actions it breathes, it breeds, it consumes, it grows and it dies. What else do we need?
I'm alone in writing this and leaving distractions behind I see my mind race a thousand miles p/h. I'm really not living in the moment, allowing my mind to dictate actions rather than surrending to impulses that I believe come from my heart and gut. I hear my mind and even beautiful in thought it weakens my ability to see the trees and all it's contours, to smell the emmating perfume of the leaves, to hear the sound of the breeze, to feel the warmth of the fire, to taste the food I picked from a tree.
My thoughts viel these senses and I realize I am not the master of my own present moment and it dissapoints me. I have practiced so long and still I must practice more. On the plus side while rereading this, I realize this is my whole life. My purpose is to love for the moment and learn and unlearn and learn again. What greater goal than to live fully and what a sadder life if you have everything you have dreamed and nothing else left to practice for.
So now I will watch my fire in the dying light, smell it's smoke, sleep on this hard ass ground, eat some delicious cherries and listen to the sound of my dreams.
Peace and Love

Day 2
No internet but I'm writing with a purpose. I'm finally living a dream of mine, I'm doing motherfucking martial arts in the damn forest. Like Gohan before me and other anime, action figures and whatever mantastic adventures you can think of. I'm montaguing by a tree I'm beating up.
My mind is clearer, my actions more assured. I'm setting out with a goal. The body trully affects the mind and by exercising and fasting only on cherries, I'm feeling powerful. I want this feeling to translate to all my endevours, I'm content but not comfortable.

Travelling Ego
Today I was wracked with guilt. I've recieved so much from Dean and even though we have given alot back through mutual exchange, the concept of money reared it's ugly head.
I don't think money is bad, but I think it's a tool we're addicted too and it's value over other exchanges such as; food for work or tools for accomadation is really out of balance. Yesterday I got to see how money can be used intelligently.
Dean took us around his properties and while living a simple life he attained all his wealth by working wisely rather than working long and tedious hours.
What I am saying is that he worked exceptionally hard but for very short periods, and by developing great connections. While I am enjoying myself with the usual travelling shenanigans, free rides and the mysterious workings of the Universe, I AM learning about the different lifestyles that suit me and I AM picking out the best.
This is an observational post, that travelling has taught me more about myself than any book, movie or guru has ever had. My abilities, mental discipline and spiritual practices have been honed on the back of graceful endevours.
I live in full truth and authenticity of my personal desires. I've developed a moral compass that I have questioned, researched and practiced until doing what I believe for the betterment of myself and others became first nature.
I've done this with comtemplation, drugs and meditation. On sports, martials arts and music. At parties, retreats and home. On the pain of myself and the ostention of others. To be honest I just want to be fucking free.
To be free takes work. To be a traveller takes trust. To be honest takes courage.
Live free.

The Adventure Begins
Let me tell you, after climatizing and shitting in my proverbial pants I've hit the motherload of untold and beautiful stories. So here I am with with no future or past to work on in Tasmania, and all I have to follow is gut instincts and synchronicities.
Definition
Synchronicitiy: (Syn-chro-nee-si-ti)
Synocronicities are what people deem to be coincedences but are to be the work of God, Universe, Budha, Jesus, Mohamed or whatever belife you subscribe to.
Now that's out the way, my travelling partner, who I met at the hostel and is crazy mofo in travelling and in the case of the lack of money, decided to go to cygnet to find a job to travel overseas. I know, I know penniless pilgrim but hell I need tickets and passports which is the only thing I need to travel, otherwise this whole trip is funded on the back of the Universe truly!
Back to the story, having no bank accounts, cause fuck the Rothchilds and any mini version of them, we couldn't find a job or a hostel that will accept us without working on their farm. So back on the road walking what could be a 5km trek with all our possesions on our back, we decided to play a game of humility. We won't hitchhike but hopefully have someone stop out of the generosity of their heart.
And heres the 'Mother'load a beautiful woman, Mel, stopped for the both of us and after offering a lift and hearing out story she offers to have us stay in her BEACHHOUSE!!?! Here we (Daos and I) thinking we're going to camp out under the stars and we get given free accomadtion, unlimited supply of food and the opptounity to canoe around the beach. In exchang for all of this I gave Mel a guided meditation, which I believe gave her an increased sense of peace.
We stayed two nights with her and her family came down. Two beautiful children with their father come up the driveway and we instantly all connect. We got to beaches where only locals would now, hunting muscles and oyasters, cooking them for dinner and having a blast.
On the last night Daos and I made a fire and decided to trip for as long as possible together and also taking awesome photos of the views.
Now that that dream is over the father, Dean, droves us around town shouted us a meal and gave us another place to stay with the same deal. Only this time we want to exchange energy by helping him with he's house.
I'm so grateful for this opportunity and whatever is watching over me I'm humbled by the care you have given me. Compassiom, kindness and thankfulness is all you need to travel this world freely.

Chapter 22
You haven't missed a chapter but I feel it's silly to start any blog with a chapter one, if you aren't just coming out the womb, to say politely.
So a quick run down on what's transpired.
PREVIOUSLY ON PENNILESS PILGRIM:
-I board the plane with an expired Passport and crumpled up Birth Certificate (Fuck Society 'ameright')
-Floated past some clouds to touchdown, talked to a beautiful English woman who led me to her hostel
-Paid for a single night with the last of the money I had scrounged up. Only to find out, after reception closed, that my room got double booked.
-Slept on the couch
-Meet a plethora of gorgeous people, who I got on very well by asking one simple question; "What is your passion?"
-For my trouble I earned one free night,
And now I'm here writing this blog. Many other wonderful little incidents happened in between but I wanted to keep this short and sweet. I did meet a mother who was very proud of her arrested protester son which helped me make a decision to downsize my backpack and take a long track down tassie...
But that's is for another time, stay tuned to Penniless Pilgrim
